I missed our anniversary dinner last week because I came down with a sore throat. I’m better now so if all goes well, we’ll celebrate this week.
Monday, we take Nana in for tests and exam with the specialist. I’ve boned up on the various treatments available so I can discuss it with him intelligently. Everything depends on what exactly he finds.
This week I’m trying something new. Shrimp Paella. Last week I was at an estate sale and of all things, there were two unopened packages of saffron for 50 cents. Saffron is incredibly expensive! I snatched them up and this week I plan to use some of it. I generally don’t buy food items at estate sales, but the packages were completely sealed. Hard to beat 50 cents.
I’ll probably be late answering any comments Monday. The specialist is pretty far away so I’m sure it’ll be an all-day affair.
