The two-meal a day plan seems to be working for us. Sometimes (especially if breakfast is light), we get hungry before dinner. In those cases we’ll have something to tie us over like cheese and crackers, nuts, popcorn, or dried fruit.
It’ll be an atypical week what with Independence Day and Greg’s birthday in the same week. We don’t plan on a big bbq on July 4th. We have some work planned that day, but it’ll be in the back near Greg’s shop so we can work and watch the grill at the same time.
It’s a shame too. I really wanted to invite friends over, but work has to come first. We just had another big storm come through. With luck, we’ll be dry again on Tuesday. The storms are the big reason we have to work. There are a lot of downed limbs, and one tree is dangerously close to falling down in the goat yard. Part of it has already damaged the fence, so we really need to get on on that. It’s a 2-day job for sure.
Greg’s birthday is this Thursday. As usual, he gets to choose where he wants to eat. Another year older and another year more handsome. 🙂
If you’re in the US, do you have any plans for July 4th?
