For the last few days I’ve been stomped on, scratched, kicked, and trampled by goats. It’s time to move the girls with the boys and everybody wants who’s ever in the OTHER pen. I am worn out!

But…this week not only marks our wedding anniversary, but we’re also going to the state fair, so I’m excited. I love the fair. It’s crowded, noisy, and exhausting, but I still love it. It brings out the kid in me every time.

  1. Went to the State Fair once Maria when still in High School on the school’s dime. It was cool until one of my friends got lost and almost missed the bus. I barely remember anything else about it but that stuck in my brain for over 40 years. Early Happy Anniversary and watch out for those randy critters, they do not mean to hurt you but it happens so quick that it is hard to avoid injury.

I have co-workers who live in the area where the State Fair is held. They mentioned it recently in relaying the uptick in traffic.

Been a few decades since I went to a State Fair. I hope to make it one day sooner rather than later.

And early Happy Anniversary to you and hubby. Such a beautiful and blessed thing to be with the one you love truly for most of your life.

    • Angela: Traffic is awful there during the fair. I’m sorry for anyone who lives or travels through that area. I guess at one time Fair Park was probably outside the city, but now it’s in the middle of everything.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes. 🙂
