I do soup a lot for lunch. It’s light and easy to make. While I’ll occasionally pull out a can from the pantry, usually it’s homemade soup. Every time I boil a big batch of chicken parts for the dogs (from our heaven-sent roosters), I save the broth and make a huge pot of chicken noodle soup.

I’m actually due to make a new batch because I’m down to one container of soup in the freezer, but I’d like to hold out until my mom gets here to see if she makes her soup differently from me. Maybe I can pick up a few tips.

Do you make homemade soup? Do you have a signature soup you like to make?
