Menu for the week of May 28, 2017
Breakfast: Blueberry pancakes (My blueberries are ripe!)
Lunch: skipping lunch, BBQ with friends
Monday: Memorial Day
Breakfast: Breakfast burritos
Lunch: Sausages on the grill
Dinner: Grilled steak
Breakfast: Poached eggs and toast
Lunch: Dogs on a bun
Dinner: Country style ribs
Breakfast: Leftover pancakes
Lunch: skipping lunch
Dinner: Steak salad (with leftover steak)
Dinner: Leftover ribs
Breakfast: Bacon and eggs
Dinner: Chicken satay: marinated thigh meat on skewers
Breakfast: Breakfast out since we’ll be hitting garage sales
Dinner: Chinese stir fry with veggies from the garden
We have spent the ENTIRE week cleaning out Greg’s workshop. He mumbled something about cleaning it and I told him I’d be happy to help. I neglected to mention we wouldn’t stop until it was done! LOL. I am happy to report that it is a navigable shop once more.
We were invited to two Memorial Day parties Saturday and Sunday. Monday, we’ll grill some sausages, but most of the day we’ll be burning brush and continue with organizing his shop.
Are you doing anything for Memorial Day? Do you work (at home or outside) during the holidays? I actually like to work on the holidays. Things are quieter and I have less interruptions.
