Sunday: Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms!
Lunch: skipping lunch, early dinner
Dinner: Steak with mushroom sauce and asparagus
Breakfast: Leftover steak and eggs
Dinner: Skillet lasagna and garlic bread
Breakfast: Leftover pancakes
Dinner: Baked chicken
Lunch: Leftover skillet lasagna
Lunch: Polish sausage
Dinner: Baked cod
Breakfast: Orange Danish
Breakfast: Spinach omelette
Lunch: Skipping lunch
Dinner: Braised short ribs
It’s supposed to rain next weekend, so I guess we’ll stay indoors. Just as well I suppose. I want to give the guest rooms a thorough once over before my company arrives next month.
I need to put some roosters in the freezer this week too. Three of them sneaked past my net pretending to be hens, but they finally gave themselves away and started crowing. They’re little birds, but they’ll still make good soup.
I’ve got three days before the rains start, so I need to finish as many of my outdoor chores as I can before it forces me indoors. Between you and me, I hope we get some solid rain. First because we’ve had very little, and second, because I could use the break. 🙂
