Tuesday–It’s my birthday!
Breakfast: Toast and juice
Lunch: Skipping lunch, early dinner
Dinner: I haven’t decided where we’re going out for my birthday. Could be seafood. Could be Mexican.
Lunch: Leftovers from wherever we went out yesterday
Breakfast: Homemade Egg McMuffins
Dinner: Rice bowl with turkey leftovers
Lunch: Tuna fish sandwiches
Breakfast: Out hunting garage sales
Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwiches
Dinner: Shrimp with stir fried rice
This is a birthday week for me. That means I get my choice of restaurant. At this point I can’t decide what I feel like eating, so we’ll have to wait and see.
I had planned to make a turkey this Sunday, but I had to switch it to Saturday. I thought my blogging conference was on Saturday (hence turkey dinner on Sunday) but I had my dates reversed. A friend called Saturday so I invited them over to share turkey dinner with us. We still had loads of leftovers. Half we’ll eat this week, but the rest will go in the freezer for future sandwiches.
I’ve finally gotten over the worst case of pollen allergy of my life. I thought it was a cold at first but it was just relentless sneezing, coughing and drainage. The pollen was pretty bad this year, probably from having such a mild winter. We finally got some rain which washed a lot of the pollen away and that was enough to clear my head. I hope we get some more rain soon.
