Menu for the week of June 18, 2017
Sunday: Happy Father’s Day!
Breakfast: Blueberry pancakes
Dinner: T-bone steak
Breakfast: Leftover steak and eggs
Dinner: Pasta salad
Breakfast: Bacon and eggs
Breakfast: French toast
Dinner: Lamb chops
Dinner: Shrimp pasta
Breakfast: Cranberry muffins
Dinner: Roast chicken
Breakfast: Breakfast burritos
Dinner: Dinner out!
Family is here and I’ve had to do some rescheduling of meals. Since my mom can’t eat past 5pm, we have dinner extra early, or trade lunch for dinner. The mid-meal is snacking on veggies and fruit, or switching the heavier meal for lunch and snacking for dinner.
We’re flexible, so we don’t really care.
The garden is in full swing so we’ve had a ton of veggies every single day. With an extra pair of hands it’s been nice trying new things with whatever is ripe at the time.
This weekend, if all goes well, we plan to have our very last garage sale. I know I said that last time, but this time for sure. We’ve cleaned out the shop and house of everything we know we don’t want anymore. I wish we lived closer to my niece who could use some of this stuff for her new house, but the distance is too great.
In other news, my brother seems to like Texas. He’s been thinking of relocating his family to either Texas or Arizona. It all depends how much house he can get for the money.
