I plan on sticking close to home this week, so I’ll probably be cooking more. I might even do some batch cooking and put up some pre-made freezer meals.
Nana’s surgery is set for Thursday. We have to travel far and we have to drop her off early, so we won’t get a chance to have breakfast. If we’re hungry after we drop her off, we’ll grab a bite before we head home.
Since Nana will need me to help her walk, I don’t plan to go garage saling for at least two weeks. She’ll be in a sling for a whole month, so I expect to develop some really strong biceps by the time all this is over.
I’m trying to be brave, but I’m a worrier. In a way, it’s worse this time because I know how awful it’ll be. He’s an excellent surgeon though. I have to keep reminding myself of that.
