I switched Saturday’s BBQ with this Sunday so I could have friends over to share it. It worked out because one of my neighbors came down with the flu so I made her a pot roast with buttered noodles. It was a huge meal so I kept some for me and Greg too.

It must’ve worked because she says she feels better today. Call me Dr. Maria. 😀

I never know quite what to make for a sick person, but pot roast is such comfort food. It’s soft too so it’s easy on a sore throat.

I had the flu right before Thanksgiving. Looks like it’s still making the rounds.

  1. I too never know what to make for a sick person. I have my “go to meal” for potlucks (pasta salad, Betty Crockers Suddenly Salad ranch and bacon mix with shredded chicken we cook to put in it) but its hard to gauge what a sick person may feel like eating. Flu is prevalent here, we’ve all had shots, hoping that might help????
