  1. I have to agree about the broom to clear ice/snow. Been there, done that and a broom is at times more effective than a shovel in clearing that which must be cleared especially if you live in Montana.

  2. I quite like the cold. I reckon it’s good for the body, obviously within reason. There’s only one crutch I truly cling to, which your Vick tip reminded me of. It’s Olbas Oil. Do you have it in America. I hate a blocked nose when I’m trying to sleep. A few severe dabs of olbas oil on both sides of the pillow (close to where the nose is positioned but not too close to the eyes. Tricky) keeps the nose clear throughout the night. It’s the only real downside of a ‘cold’ – the dreaded blocked nose.
